It's just not worth it if it's not a headboard...

We made a headboard...and saved approximately $499.99 by making it ourselves. Now Andy can start on that backpiece he's been wanting. rofflezzzz

Lola helped.

Getting closer...

Andy has been working very hard on the vendor page for the SPC. You can check it out here, but use Firefox or something other than IE cus it looks like crap in IE (but still works).

We're also making progress band-wise. I won't make any mention of the prospects until we know for sure, but we're pretty excited about what we have in store. eeeeeeee it's coming together!!

So why is it?

That every time we have a "company lunch" I get sick? Yes, for real. Whether I go out with a client, a vendor, or co-workers, it never fails. Every time. Normally I talk my way out of going, but sometimes there just isn't any way around it. Case in point: Friday. Co-worker's last day here, so everyone goes out to lunch. Of course, said co-worker chooses the meatiest place in town, leaving me with few options. So, I get on-line Thursday afternoon so that I can plan in advance. I find something that I think might be okay, so I get it (after politely declining the deep-fried cream cheese appetizer balls). I even ordered a bowl of fresh fruit instead of the optional "loaded baked potato", "french fries", or "cheesy bacon mashed potatoes" with my avocado-tomato-cheese sammie. I eat all of the above on a fairly regular basis so I should be fine, right? Wrong. People, if anyone's keeping track, I can add Axel's Bonfire to my list of restaurants I can't eat at. Fine with me, I don't like eating out anyways.

Uninspired

For some reason I've been feeling somewhat uninspired to update my blog. Why would that be? I have plenty to write about, but I'm just not feelin' that blogness as of late.

We had a very very nice, but very very busy Christmas. I'm looking forward to the day when we don't have to run around to 4 Christmases in one day. It's nice to see everyone, but it does get to be a bit much. I had a bunch of days off around Christmas and New Year's which I thoroughly enjoyed, but made it that much harder to come back. This is my first full week of work in a month. It's going by quite slowly.

AND today is the deadline to get your application in for the CRAFTSTRAVAGANZA!!!

Andy and I have been up to our eyeballs in applications. It's very exciting to get the mail when I get home from work--it gives me something to look forward to at the end of the day and helps my days go by just a little quicker. I live a sad life.

Well, now that you're all caught up on my life, I'll leave it be 3 more weeks until I update again. Or maybe more.
