Spring is Sprunged
Since the snow melted a couple weeks ago we've been finding treasures in our yard & dirt driveway. At first it was just small things; my lost set of spare car keys, a fork, a set of fancy animal shaped paper clips, a kitchen towel....but over the weekend Andy found the best treasure yet; a jawbone! We're still trying to figure out what kind of animal it came from, but it's too big to be a rabbit or squirrel or bird. It actually looks more like a cat jawbone to me than anything else. We'll have to do some more research and maybe I'll even post a photo.
On Saturday we went to the MN RollerGirls "season finale". The first half we stood rinkside and got a good close-up view of the action, but for the second half we decided to go up to the balcony. From there we got a better veiw of what was actually happening since we were able to see the whole rink. It was fun, but I don't think I'd want to go to every bout; maybe once a year. We ended up walking home from the X-cel center after; it's about a 3 mile stroll. Good thing the weather held out for us. It could have been a miserable walk.
We got to see the baby again on Sunday which was wonderful. She slept most of the afternoon even though she was continually being passed around :) She's definitely a sweetheart and rarely cries!

Congrats on the finds~that's crazy. And congratulations on being an aunt! What an adorable kid! And, like Jenny said, very nice name.
Jenny, I'm not sure what you're talking about? They have a website you can check out http://www.mnrollergirls.com/ go under photos --> bruises. they're nuts!
Thanks Laurie! Maybe I'll send you the jawbone. I think Nadia's cute, but I suppose I'm partial ;)
