It's Graduation Time

Last night Andy and I graduated from our police class. Whew. Although we're glad we participated in the St. Paul Citizens Police Academy, we're both very glad to be done with it. We now have our Wednesdays nights back.

We each got a snazzy SPPD 15th CPA t-shirt embroidered with our name (although Andy almost didn't get his as some woman tried to swipe it as hers--apparently she thought they were "Andy K." memorial t-shirts even though they told us time and time again they would be "personalized with our names" ), and a very authentic certificate. Chief Harrington presented the certificates to us and we even got our photos taken with him. Supposebly (yes, supposebly) we'll be getting copies of those in the mail.

After a class photo and a slice of cake with the bluest frosting ever, we got home before 8 for the first time on a Wednesday night in 11 weeks. Bliss I tell ya, pure bliss.
