So Many Weddings!

It was a big wedding weekend for Andy and I. We had 2 to go to on Saturday; Andy's cousin and then my friend from school, Tina. We were able to make it to parts of both even though they were 2.5 hours' drive apart. The first one was in Roseville (not far from our house) and then the second one was up in Alexandria. We went to the ceremony and part of the "reception" of the first, and then made it up to Alex in time for Tina's reception. They were both good times. But 2 weddings in one day and no wedding cake! I guess the kids these days aren't doing wedding cakes anymore. The first reception just had desserts--cheesecake, strawberry angelfood cake and something else that I had that was NOT good, and then Tina had a brownie tree which was really cute. I've never seen a brownie tree before. I've seen a cupcake tree, but not so much a brownie tree. They were yummy!

So conviently after Tina's reception we were able to go to the lake home for the rest of the weekend. We got there and it was surprisingly very light out so we started a fire. It was a very interesting fire, becuase all the wood we could find was somewhat wet. We (mostly Andy) got it going pretty good, and then the next day we come to find out that the dry wood was in the shed. Go figure.

On our way back home from the lake we had to take a 3 hour detour to go to my parent's house to pick up Lola. We had some good pizza which really hit the spot since we hadn't really eaten in about a day.

All in all, it was a good weekend for all involved!

Congratulations to the 4 newlyweds--unfortunately the photos are so great, you'd think a photography major could take better snapshots ;)
