Happy Anniversary to my sister & brother in law! They've been married for 2 years today. In a way it seems like it was MUCH longer ago, but then again it seems also like it was just yesterday! Two years ago today is also the last day Andy ate meat--well, he wasn't eating it up until their wedding, but had to eat chicken that night because he was sooo hungry and they didn't have any other choices. Without that meal that night he probably has been a vegetarian the 2nd time around for about 2.5 years.

Anyways, as I was driving into work this morning I had the radio on and they were talking about something with people who called in--from what I could gather someone had a friend who had recently broken up with her boyfriend/husband/whatever and got a cat after the break-up. Sounded like the lady who called in was looking for advice on how to get her friend to go out more often--her friend apparently claimed that she couldn't go out because she had just gotten this cat and couldn't leave the cat home alone--like she'd be betraying this cat for hanging out with her friends. The woman calling in said that whenever she talked to her cat friend all the lady could ever talk about was her cat and give her excrutiating details about the cat and what they do together.

People were calling in and giving this woman advice on how to handle the situation and blah blah blah whatnot.......but then......duh duh dunnnn.....THE CAT LADY CALLS IN!!!! The original caller had used her & her friend's real names and it being a local radio station (and rush hour!) of course the friend was listening and called in and called her friend on everything that had just been said! Good Lord people--at least use a fake name or something. At least it was entertaining for me and I'm sure for hundreds of others listening this morning.

What's the prob?

When I started this blog I was still in school. I don't even know why I started it but I did. Recently I got the urge to really update it on a daily basis like Andy does his. Not quite sure why I haven't been though. It's not like there's a lack of things to write about, we just got back from 2 weeks in Paris for crying out loud! My husband just quit his job and will be unemployed in 2 weeks unless he gets his butt in gear and finds something else. We're thinking about starting a business and putting those college degrees to use that we're still (and will be for a few years) paying for. My sister is going to have a baby on my other sister's 23rd birthday. We have the cutest dog in the entire world and she likes to puke on things. But she is still the cutest, sweetest little thing you'll ever meet. She's curled up sleeping on the 6 foot love sac right now. She takes up approximately 6 square inches of it.

I talked to Abigail tonight. I miss her and wish that we lived closer. I was thinking this morning that I kinda miss being in school. Not necessarily the class part of it but more the socilization aspect of it and not totally being responsible for myself--still being dependent on my parents for the important things--mostly health insurance I suppose. But it was nice that they gave me tax-free money!

That's about enough for tonight I'd say!
